About The Game
Oi, Chef! is a deck of cards designed to encourage flexible play through the concept of sandwich making.
Besides bringing endless fun to the family while introducing house rules, its portability makes it ideal for road trips or camping entertainment.
Not only a highly amusing game, but also an educational tool that can be used by teachers to introduce a wide range of concepts (coding, mathematics, task analysis, etc.) by way of making sandwiches.
How to play
We’ve created 4 different gameplays with the Oi, Chef! cards, and we are releasing new gameplays every month!
4-of-a-kind sandwhich (ages 6 years+)
4-of-a-Kind Sandwich is a fun party game for kids who enjoy fast-paced challenges that will keep them on their toes. The goal is to collect four-of-a-kind ingredients. Players must choose what ingredient they want to collect. On each player’s turn, they will pick up and then discard, facedown, one card at a time for each turn. This discarded card is passed to the player on their left, who also picks up and then discards an ingredient card to the next player on their left and on it goes.
The first player to make a 4-of-a-Kind Sandwich will win the game!
"May i have your order?" (ages 6 years+)
May I Have Your Order? is a classroom game, to be played by 4 students to a table, where the teacher verbally orders a sandwich with ingredients that must be collected in sequential order. (For example, “I would like to order a sandwich with tomato on the top, followed by cheese and lettuce at the bottom.”) At each table, the players try to collect the ingredients in the same manner as 4-of-a-Kind Sandwich. Through this gameplay, students learn about sequencing, an essential coding principle.
Additionally, “x2” cards can be used for sandwich orders such as, “I would like to order two cheese sandwiches.” introducing multiplication or looping in coding.

What Is In The Deck?
The deck consists of 55 cards that depict sandwich ingredients (e.g., tomato, cucumber, butter, etc.) and some order cards. The rules are different for each gameplay, but the objective is the same—be the first to make a sandwich!
